Brynne Shipman

Communications Director

Brynne Shipman, a Dallas native, is one of the most versatile and entertaining artists of her time. She is a veteran of the dance community with many having described her as the chameleon of dancers due to the fact that she can take on practically any style of dance and perform it with exceptional ability, passion, and grace. Her passion for dance began at the tender age of 2 ½ years when her doctor suggested ballet to help correct a clubbed foot sustained at birth, and she has never looked back. She began her training with Ballet and Tap, and later added Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, African, Swing, House, Country Western, Latin, Modern, Contemporary, Pointe, Cheer, Drill Team, Singing, Acting and more. During her high school years, she studied the Cecchetti method and has recently passed teaching exams in grades one and two. She has studied and/or worked with some of the best choreographers in the business including but not limited to Tabitha & Napoleon D’Umo, Wade Robson, Mandy Moore and many more. Some of her TV/stage/industrial credits include TLC’s “Rock the Reception”, “It’s All About Mimi” Reality Show, Fox 4 News, “Gordo and Godiva” Short Film, Direct TV, Gearbox, IBM, LG, Ericsson, Snowball Express with Gary Sinise, The Mesquite Rodeo, Dallas Art Museum, The Belo Mansion, Texas Gaylord Resort, The Majestic Theatre, Fair Park, The Lakewood Theatre and more. In 2004, Brynne auditioned for N2it Dance Company owned & directed by LA-based choreographer, Stacey Keathley. Soon after her acceptance into the company, Brynne became one of Ms. Keathley’s closest assistants and eventually her business partner. Together, they produced and directed the “Kids for Kids, United We Dance” benefit shows for children with cancer and “The Move to Groove Ball”, a choreographer’s showcase for professional dancers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. As a former member of the Texas Tornado Ice Breakers Dance Team, Brynne was asked to judge the auditions for the Frisco Thunder Dance Team and later choreograph for the team as well. In 2004, 2006 and 2010, Brynne traveled to Los Angeles, California to perform in the illustrious “Choreographer’s Carnival”. Her 2010 Carnival performance featured some of her choreography as well as some of the best choreographers Dallas has to offer.
